Music downloads
Happy New Year, Wizards!
I would like to download music legitimately and pay the going rate. My problems are (I think)that the tracks I seek are mainly 60s and 70s (although some moderns) and may not be readily available. More importantly, I think I am correct in thinking that there are some restrictions placed on downloads. For example, I don't own an ipod or an mp3 player and I don't want to play them on my computer. I would like to download music and then make up my own CD selections.
Can the Wizards advise/assist?
Many thanks in anticipation of your customary guidance.
Jim

I'm not too sure if iTunes can natively sync to a non-ipod music player, but I did find a software you might want to test out. SourceForge.net: iTunes Agent
Also, iTunes previously had iTunes Plus, non-drm version of the songs. If I'm not mistaken most iTunes songs are now natively iTunes Plus. I could be mistaken. I get most of my music from iTunes, but I'm using an iPod as well so...
You can also try Amazon MP3. Non-drm from what I've read.

I get some stuff from Here Kaister. Kind of Hit and Miss with seeders though. Picked up AC/DCs Latest there though and burned a cd for the wife.

Hmm I was thinking of posting similar links as well I'm just afraid that it might be deemed illegal. Some bands share their music willingly, like Hello Madness does but most people just assume Torrents = Illegal.
Since we're on this, Roky, you might want to consider btjunkie.org. Decent search engine. =)
