    Does this mean that you now have it working???

    If not, supply a little more info & maybe I or someone else could provide some help.

    For future readers, here's a link to the Intel 82801DB ICH4 - AC'97 Audio Controller/driver;

    Intel® Desktop Board D845GRG*Audio: AC 97 ADI*

    It's an 18.9 MB file. (wdm3516b_Cadenza.exe) <-- Direct Link

    I have a smaller driver package (60 KB (zipped)) which has worked on many machines.
    (For the Audio Adapter Intel 82801DB(M) ICH4(-M) - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-0])

    I'll attach the audio driver.

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    Unzip/extract the two files to an empty folder.

    Open Device Manager. Scroll down to Sound, video and game controllers

    Double click on the 82801DB sound device.

    Choose the DRIVER tab.

    Choose Update Driver.

    Go through the prompts - No (internet) Win Update, Install from a specific location, Don't search, have disk, etc and direct it to the folder where you saved the two files.

    Choose the oem34.inf file.

    When it's done reboot your machine.
