File Attributes
Hello Everyone
I have three files in Adobe\ActiveX which I wish to remove. They are protected by File Attributes and when I apply the, Attrib -A -R -S -H followed by delete, the files still say 'Access Denied.'
Anyone know a workaround this please?

If its a system file you may have to be logged in as an Admin.

And if you already are using an admin account, and you are 100% certain these files are not needed, you can use MoveOnBoot. This program allows you to select any file to move or delete the next time the computer boots. It works early in the boot process, before anything else can get hooks in to it.

Thank you very much. The files were not needed and were messing up my machinery; my previous posts concerning Adobe Acrobat will confirm!
I downloaded 'MoveBoot,' after it arrived I could not believe that I had downloaded it in May 2007, but had never installed it. Anyway, Digerati it did an excellent job, and I have (I Hope!) completely expunged Acrobat from my machine.

Great and thanks for the followup. Now you might want to check out Secunia PSI to make sure you have all the latest security updates.

Thank you Digerati. I will certainly give it a go.
