I need to know my Administrative password... this is my school laptop and i am trying to restore my Active Desktop but i don't have the rights... is there anyway that i can get the password somehow??

What if you are using pro and lets say your school has the administrative accout/password

It is not a dumb question, but you are not going to find the answer here. Passwords are there to protect the computer, the data stored on it, and the owner of the data. Although we would like to help, since we have no way of knowing that is not a stolen notebook and you are not a thief trying to crack it, we cannot help you. You best option is take the computer, and the original Windows installation disk to a repair shop where they can verify ownership.

I hope you understand the "spot" it puts us in, and why we cannot help.
