You need to find out what key to press when booting up your computer to get into the BIOS. It probably says on the screen. I believe that it is usually F8 or F5. Once you figure that out, go to the section that has something about boot priorities [I forgot exactly what it is typically called]. It will have a list of possible boot devices. This is the order of devices in which the computer will check or to see if it can boot into. If the hard drive is higher than the cd drive, then that would explain what the computer isn't booting into the cd because it is checking the hard drive before the cd drive. Does that make sense? Make sure that the cd drive is higher than the hard drive, save and exit. If that isn't the problem then your disk might be corrupted or you have a problem with your cd drive. If you can get the computer to boot into the installation disk you should find the option to repair windows. I would try that before reinstalling windows [which is a last resort solution]. You can also repair or replace the driver(s) from the disk's built in command line but I don't know the correct command. Good luck.
