Have you sert the BIOS to boot from cd first.

    Just a thought.

It does vary slightly with the make.

It should be in your manual.

Normally it consists of tapping the Delete key whilst the computer is trying to boot.
This should boot it into Bios, then you set the boot order to boot first from cd, then hard drive.

I was wondering if you can boot into safe mode.
This is done by tapping F8 as computer is booting.

If you can boot from the cd, there is a way to repair windows without using the recovery console. and without losing Data
Unfortunately, I can't for the life of me remember how.

Hopefully someone will come to your assistance.
