Hi bkdc
Thought I had solved the desk top problem but no so....seems when I leave the pc for a whilw (Even when I turn it on) it still has a black screen it is not the screensaver as this is
in the NONE position. My dsk top icons are there but my picture background colour have gone...could it be the memory??

Try clicking the 'Power' button in 'Monitor Power,' and select all three to 'never.'

Hi grimerz
thank you for replying
I dont want to sound stupid but where will i find the Monitor power button
Thanks
D
Hello Danthespan.
Right-click on the desk-top (Anywhere)
Select 'Properties'
Select 'Screen Saver'
On that page there should be a 'Monitor Power' setting, and below to the right-hand side a 'Power' button.
Click on it and set all Three items i.e., 'Monitor,' 'HDs' and 'Standby System' to 'Never.'
Select OK
I hope this will help you.
