I am regularly getting a mouse (Microsoft) that stops moving when I am using Internet Explorer 7 (version 7.0.5730.11)

The pointer locks and no combination of keys appears to unlock it

I have deleted the driver and re-installed (plug & play), but suffering the same issue now and again
Windows advises this is the most up to date driver

Any thoughts

you say processor upgraded? did you reinstall windows afterwards? cos when i upgraded my processor, i had loads of lock-ups, freezes and problems..
