Hi Guys, hope all is well at DAL.

I am having some problems with my HP Pavillion DV6000 dv6104eu laptop.

The CD drive was working fine and then I installed some CD writing software, which I have now uninstalled. My problem is now that I can't see my CD drive in the device manager or My computer screens.

I have tried removing a some registry files as advised by some information on the net but that hasn't helped and I think I may have removed certain registry's by accident.

How would I go about restoring the lost registry's/getting my CD drive to show back up.

System restore before you installed the software would be best if you can.

I've done that and sadly its still not showing up.
