i have had windows media player for a long time now. for some reason it sticks. then says i didnt close it down right and i did. plus some songs on there i have played loads of times, not says cant play song. i have deleated the windows player and re added but same problem

Try inspecting your computer for Malware 1st. Then if nothing is found you can try uninstalling Media Player 11 and install Media Player 10 to see if you have the same problem. If OK try uninstalling Media player 10 and reinstall Media Player 11. It sounds like you downloaded some malware though.
