I have recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro, when it was reinstalled the graphics were fine then all of a suddon the display went to 640X480 16bit normally the display is 1024X768.
Under Settings in the Display Proprities window, it says display: but it doesn't seem to have reconised the graphics, and when i go into advanced then under the adapter tab this also shows no adapter.
I have tryed installing the latest drivers for this graphics card but that didn't work, i have also tryed uninstalling from device manager and reinstalling the drivers but that didn't work either.

BTW its an Intel 82810 Graphics Adapter

hi there have you tried restoring the computer back to a previous state to when it was ok try this see if it helps if not you might need a new graphics card

is that an on board graphics chip?

how much shared memory are you allowing the graphics?

have you got the motherboard driver disc?

no it is on the windows system tools basicly you are restarting the computer to a previous time when a recent driver was installed . it is founf start>all programs>accsessories>system tools>system restore.. youwill not lose any documents pics of anything like that but any recent programs will be taken off
