When i open programs on my computer they don't appear on my taskbar at the bottom like usual. It was fine yesterday but at the minute i have to press alt + tab to go through my programs and it's really annoying. Anyone know how i can get the programs back onto the taskbar?

As you can see, it is not shown on the taskbar, no programs are at the minute. Help will be appreciated.

have you got the taskbar locked?

right click on taskbar and see if it's locked

The taskbar wasn't locked. I tired locking it and unlocking it to see what the problem was. I checked through all the settings too and nothing seemed to work. In the end i just downloaded a package off the net which set the taskbar to all the default settings. In the end it worked perfectly. Problem solved
