My computer keeps freezing
For a while now, my computer has been randomly freezing and I have to restart it. I have tried many things to try and fix it but nothing has worked. Here are some thing I have noticed:
-My CPU usage is often very high, especially when I play large videos, where it goes up to 100% and the video stutters every second
-In the System log of my event viewer, I have more red crosses than not, mostly DCOM but there are a few others too. I have occasional errors in the Application log as well.
-I installed Motherboard Monitor and it tells me that the case is 36 degrees Celsius and CPU is 55 degrees Celsuis. I don't have a clue what a normal temperature is, so I don't know if this could also be a problem
Do any of these things sound like potential causes? And how can I fix the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Hi Daisy and welcome.
I see that you posted this same problem in the HJT forum. Please note that posting the same problem in different forums (or sites) is not considered proper forum etiquette as it is like spreading the kids across all the checkout lines so you can get checked out faster.
Also, if I were to suggest a course of action, it would probably change the log, and invalidate it, making their time and suggested actions in that forum a waste of time, if not dangerous to the computer.
So wait now until they give you a clean bill of health, then post back here with an update.
Thanks.
