I have 5,000s songs on my laptop And it die.....

is there a program that will copy my itune playlist from one computer to another i have transfering most of my music to a portable drive used to back up my data

it is transfering the playlist which is now the issue

Have you a backup program for you songs?

Do you mean that the Hard Drive has failed?

If not, image software such as Ghost or Acronis can image your HD to an external HD for safe keeping.
