I just yesterday aquired a virus that will not let me renue my virus protection, which is zonealarm and 2 mo. outdated. won't let me download any antivirus. Mcfee, norton and a couple others i tried. system restore does not work. even tried it in safe mode. and though the computer was working sluggishly last night, when i tried to get to DAL, i was always being redirected to some goofs on the east coast. waddaya think?

Try a google search for 'Kaspersky', Does the browser close itself on you?
or is it when you try to download the files it just wont download?
I had a simalar visrus that whenever i searched google for an antivirus it just closed the browser i think i used something like norton systemworks trial then removed it afterwords.
After you get this problem fixed i sugest that you use an antivirus like Kaspersky and keep it uptated.
