Hi athu45 and welcome to D-A-L.
select yes to scan it..i selected no
Wise move!!! But since you were suspicious of that virus scan site, it was NOT a wise move to post a working link to it and exposing everyone to potentially malicious activities! NOT cool!

I have edited your post to remove the live link. Please understand that forums, by definition, are "open" - therefore you must assume that folks (current and future) with less computer security experience are reading, and trying to follow along. For that reason alone, it is not proper to post live links to suspect sites - and that's Internet wide.

Also note that posting live links to bad sites in a user's very first post raises serious red flags and causes us to immediately suspect the user (in this case, you!) of bad intent. I sincerely hope it was just a "newbie" mistake, and if so, please forgive my tone. Your response, or lack of, will be telling.

I removed your log because it is from an old version of HJT, and because, HJT logs are to be posted only in our HJT forum, as noted in sticky at the top of this forum.

I urge you to purge your system of clutter using Windows [XP / Vista] Disk Cleanup, ATF Cleaner or CCleaner. If you use CCleaner, then during installation, uncheck the option to install the Yahoo toolbar and before first use, go to Options > Settings > Advanced and ensure Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours is unchecked.

Note: Ensure you know your site credentials (user names and passwords) for sites you frequent before cleaning; you may have to enter them to login on next visit.

Then download, install, update, and run Malwarebytes's Anti-Malware (MBAM) to make sure your system is free of malware.

If still having problems after that, see these D-A-L HijackThis Procedures for instructions on downloading and installing the latest version of HJT, and where to post your log. Once properly posted, a D-A-L Malware Removal expert will take over. When finished there, please post back here with a status update.

Did you scan with MBAM? I am not familiar with escane - did you mean eScan?

If you are still concerned then follow the instructions above for posting a log and ask our Malware Removal experts to have a look.
