    error message

I work on a fairly new computer and WinXP system.

I just tried to read some messages on the D-A-L site, and received from time to time an error message wich reads:

<The instructionat"0x02921e51" referenced memory at "0x00540049" could not be "written"
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program>

in any of the above the program closes.

Please advise what happens and how to get rid of the problem

    Thanks

Does this happen every time? Only on D-A-L?

You might want to test them memory, since it is pointing to a memory location. You can test your RAM using one of the following programs. Both require you to create and boot to a bootable floppy disk or CD to run the diagnostics. Using the floppy method is generally easier and yet another reason I still include floppy drives in my new PC builds. However, the CD method is just as effective at detecting RAM problems. Allow the diagnostics to run for several passes or even overnight. You should have no reported errors.
Windows Memory Diagnostic - see the easy to follow instructions under Quick Start Information.
    or
MemTest86+ (for more advanced users) - an excellent how-to guide is available here.

thanks, but no. I just checked with the Windows Diagnostic and no errors in the memory was found.
The error message appears always when trying to connect to D-A-L and sometimes, but not always, when surfing elsewhere

Tell us about your computer. What browser? How do you connect? Have you run malware scans?

I might suggest you stay on top of your anti-malware scans. If you do not have a complete arsenal of tools, check out my sticky, Cleaning Out Malware.
