Ok im not great on a pc so please remember that when replying lol

My pc was fine when i logged off last night, came and turned it on this morning and all i can see is my fish screen saver......no menu ( start ) box....so i cant even do a system restore to the day before..

any ideas what is wrong im sure its something really simple but i havent a clue
