I recently purchased PC Pitstop optimize 2.0 to speed up my computer. It worked OK ! However, each time I start my computer, a window opens named "MSRedist" saying it is about to configure prior to installation. After a few seconds, a further window opens named "Setup" saying This MSI must be launched through Setup. I cannot get rid of these windows and have found that I can no longer instal other programmes! Can you help please?

How recently? If just a day or two, try to do a System Restore to before the you used Optimized.

What made you decide to purchase Optimize? Were you having other problems?

Sadly, these optimize or "tune-up" programs do not have a good track record.
