Hi guys I'm working on a HTPC and I am going to lose the keyboard and mouse on the HTPC and control the HTPC from my room computer via VNC. Now the only problem I have is I need VNC to start when I need to dervice the PC or load a movie or something on it. VNC starts automaticly but I had to disable that because I can't connect unless I close and restart VNC I don't know wht that is. So I was wondering if I can launch VNC with my mediacenter remote by a button click.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

im not too sure about that, however, if you're making a htpc, a media center keyboard would go well..
its meant to match the remote, and you can open programs with that.. (also surf the web etc )
just a thought.... cos you could open VNC with it, and they do look nice
