I picked up a dell demension 4550 at an auction and the first time I started it was ok the next time I went to start I got a warning computer will not startup checkpoint[size]
how do I get this computer to start up...thanks

Are you saying it is running in check disk and won,t boot up when finished. A lot more detail will be needed to diagnose problem.
