Problems with loading 1 site and IE inop

A few days ago, a forum I am a member of moved to a new server. Since that time I cannot access their URL. I get this message:

    Address Not Found
Firefox can't find the server at www.warrifles.com

I have talked to the tekkies atr my ISP, and they have no problem logging in, nor does another computer in our home.
However, when the site owner gave me these instructions:

1....click on your start button in the bottom left hand corner of (your desktop
page) - the one that comes up when you boot up your computer.

    2....Click on Control Panel option.

3....Then click on Network and Internet.

    4....Then click on Internet Options.

5....Then on the page that opens up - select the Delete button under Browsing History.
If you get a second pop up window that ask if you want to also delete all temporary
files and temporary Downloads - click yes.

You will now have a fresh start.
I followed these instructions to the T, but it was no help. Also, I cannot open IE from my computer. I get the same message when I hit the download button on Microsoft's site, (Address not Found). The IE browser will not load any URLs.

    HELP!!!!

    Larry

    Just to clarify:

We go from "one site" to "the IE browser"?

Are you saying you cannot open/use IE at all?

If so you might try a System restore to a point prior to your problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

    Are you using IE7?

    Have you tried another browser?

If System restore does not work:

    IE Fix
    --------------------------------------------------
    Open Notepad then

Copy the Text below into the blank document then

Save the file as IEfix2.cmd (save as type "all files").

Save to your Desktop then Run the IEfix2.cmd file. Double click it.

    Restart your machine.

    ********Copy Below this Line*********

    net start cryptsvc
    regsvr32 softpub.dll /s
    regsvr32 wintrust.dll /s
    regsvr32 initpki.dll /s
    regsvr32 dssenh.dll /s
    regsvr32 rsaenh.dll /s
    regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll /s
    regsvr32 sccbase.dll /s
    regsvr32 slbcsp.dll /s
    regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll /s
    regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
    regsvr32 Shell32.dll
    regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
    regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
    regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
    regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
    regsvr32 Msjava.dll
    regsvr32 Browseui.dll

Another option is to flush your DNS:

start Run... cmd > ipconfig /flushdns

    Reboot.

Thanks for your kind and immediate response. The problem with IE is resolved, after following your recommendations.

However the frustrating problem with the forum site that I cannot access is still driving me crazy.
As I mentioned in the previous post, the forum has recently changed their ISP, and has a new IP, I assume. It seems that their URL still points to their old IP, but only on my computer. I have followed all the suggestions provided by their admin, but to no avail. If there's something that you could recommend, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you,

    Larry
