    RUNDLL ERROR message

I have recentley experienced a problem after I have left my computer idle on-line. When I have returned I have an error message window open which contains the following: -
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    RUNDLL
    Error loading C:\Program Files\Common Files\Paretologic\UUS2\UUS. dll

The specified module could not be found.

    OK
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would be grateful for any explanation and assistance please.

    Ben

    Do you have Paretologic installed?

If you do not know what it is then I'd suggest uninstalling it.

It is a "supposed" Registry Cleaner and Malware protector.

    Hello again jephree,

I did a search for the file and found it under ParetoLogic Data Recovery. I bought this on-line to recover a huge cache of digital photos which I lost after my CompactFlash Memory Card was corrupted. I had downloaded several similar trial programmes in my bid to recover the images and none of them worked except for this programme. The crunch was that although I could see the recovered images (taken on the Outer Hebrides) I could not download them to my computer until I purchased the full programme which was 'reasonable' and better than a 1000 miles round trip to take them again. I have just run the programme as a trial on a card which had all images deleted and formatted with a 100% successful recovery. Can I now delete that RUNNDLL file/message or just keep ignoring it?

You should be able to delete it.

Leave it in your Recovery bin and verfy that the program still works.
