What do you mean by "INSTALL"?

Are you trying to reinstall your laptop to FACTORY settings?

Or do you mean you just cannot start your laptop in XP?

I have problem in reinstalling winxp, also I tried laptop's recovery cds.
First one worked fine but when I want to put the second one, laptop shuts down.It happens about 10 minutes of reinstallation process.
during reinstallation my laptop shuts down and I can't reinstall winxp on it,what should I do?
what are the steps that I have to follow for reinstalling?because my current winxp has got virus problem and also I can not write any files on any cd.
so I decided to reinstall windows, but from my past experience know that my laptop shuts down during reinstallation and I can not reinstall windows.
    splease tell me the solution.
    thanks

This problem has been posted by other users without any definitive solution.

It points to a hardware failure. RAM is suspect as could be the CD drive.

Have you tried with the AC cable and the battery removed?

You can test the RAM with MemTest
    --------------------------------------------------
    Try running MemTest.

    No I haven't tried that.
other problem is I can't access the Recovery option by pressing ALT+F10 key during POST and windows boots.
I have downloaded a keyboard software from PassMark PC benchmark and test software and tested that and it passed the test.
wondering thing is that after installing Acer eManager I hadn't Recovery option on that,I think I missed some of windows system files because of virus affection.
so what can I do now?
    thanks
