Can anyone help?
When I click on a link to another web page the screen freezes and eventually the top bar shows Internet Explorer Not Responding.
I have tried a Sysytem Restore but this has not solved the problem.

Close IE.
Go Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons). Same thing?

Good. That means, some of your add-ons is screwing things up. I suspect some toolbar (Google?).
Start IE normally, disable all add-ons, then start enabling them one-by-one, until you find the culprit.
