Won't save settings
Hi
Have Windows XP SP2 installed, i've had major problems with this system. But the main one is that i can't get the computer to save any settings.
For example:
I will change the default printer, upon restarting the computer the default print has changed back.
IE 7 seems to want to find it's internet connection through a LAN proxy server, thus meaning i have to change the connection settings everytime i restart the computer aswell.
Any and all idea's on how to either fix or bypass these problems will be much appreciated.

Tried it no change, didn't save either settings.
Looked at the actual script that runs in the savesettings.reg and it quotes
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000
I'm not good with script but Logic would tell me that this is wrong. It however is not the only line of script just the one that seems wrong.
