Hi all newbie here so please be patient!

I have personalized guest a/c on start up, I have activated the welcome screen button in user accounts, all accounts have passwords, yet when I start up XP by-passes the welcome screen and loads my personal (administrator) settings (also password protected), tried every which way to start up showing the welcome screen but it keeps going to my desktop screen.....help ?

Try this:

Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard.
Type control userpasswords2 in the prompt and hit enter.
Make sure there is a checkmark in the box: "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer".
If not, put one in and hit ok.
