    Help, don't know which GC to use with this board

    hi, i using this biostar mother board P4M900-M4 the url is BIOSTAR

    i'm having problem i dunnno which of the grachpic card below i stated is most suitable, most performace and can use on my board. this are the list.

    1. Powercolor ATI X300SE 128mb

    2. asus EN8500GT Silent PCI-Express graphic card

    3. ATI Saphire Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb 256 Bit card

    4. Inno3d Nvidia 8400gs PCI Express 256mb

    5. Geforce 6600GT AGP8x 128mb DDR3

    FYI: i;m using Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz, 1.75GB of RAM and hardisk size of 160 sata USING WINDOW XP.. recommend which one shld i use... those above are my within my budget so they are they 5 i only choose...

    Id say the 8500GT is the best out of those bunch. It shouldnt be too unbalanced because i know that P4 may even hold back the 8500GT...which is hard to believe. lol!

    thanks for ya help, if 8500 compare with this Asus EN8600GT 256MB DDR3 which wold be better on my low end computer ? ?

    The 8600 is a better card.

    Another consideration is your PSU.

    The 8600 claims 350 Watt minimum:

    I'd suggest at least 400 Watts and if you do upgrade you might as well go to 500 Watts.

    In order to see your current model you need to open the case and look at the label on the PSU.

    how to checl my psu watts? i planning to get a 8600 512mb... but dunno my psu can support anot

    Open up the case and there should be a label on the PSU (big box at the top of your case). Look for something like 300W, etc.
