    Cursor Shadow Missing

Okay here's an annoying issue I'm facing.

When I drag things around, my laptop cursor shadow turns black. Under normal circumstances it is fine it remains a nice shadow but when I drag things it turns black. Unfortunately I do not know how to take a screen shot with the mouse appearing in it so I can't show it. Googling has not brought me any results.

Any solutions to this? It happened after I changed my cursor themes. Now no cursor theme would work properly.

    Peace,
    Kai

Have you uninstalled these "bad" curser themes?

If you have, and it didn't help, try a system restore back to a point before the theme installation.

Okay I have it fixed though I do not know. However I'll list down the things I did so that people in the future with the same problem can hopefully fix it as well.

    1. Changed my skins (windowblinds) around a few times
    2. Changed my icons (iconpackager) around a few times
    3. Installed older version of gfx driver and then updated to latest version
    4. Used Vista Theme Pack welcome center to re-sync my themes.
    5. Restart

Not in that particular order lol. It's just things I did. Thanks anyways Dan.

offtopic: Btws Dan, I just realized your name is pronounced the same as Officer Tenpenny from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, one of my favourite games lol!

Another update. It's back, with a vengeance. I brought my laptop out to college today and the same thing is happening (I'm in college now) again.

Would it make sense if I said that back at home I've got an External Hard Disk Drive plugged in? I don't think it should affect the cursor though.... Since that hard disk only holds non-essential files. Even the cursor icons are all on my laptop itself...

Any suggestions? And removing the cursor/themes have not worked :-(

    OKAY! ANOTHER UPDATE!

I found out what causes it. My dual monitor set up causes it. Without my second monitor (when my mobo is mobile or sth) the cursor shadow would disappear. Wtf.

    I NEED A CURE!

    Lol.
