I upgraded to service pack 3 a few days ago and now, at least once a day, the screen locks up and I can't do anything. I would like to go back to to where I was before I upgraded. Is that possible? If so, how. Or, is this common and there is a fix?

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

check the box that says "Show Updates"

click SP3 and remove.

The main issues I have seen are boot issues with AMD motherboards.

Otherwise it is most like a particular driver you have.

Check your Event Viewer via Administrative Tools.

Open the System as well as Application tabs and look for red X errors that coincide with your problem. Details here:

Looked in those folders and there are tons of Red x's. Wow. I will took into the items you mentioned but the task looks daunting. John
