    creating a norton ghost image of a hard drive?

    how do I create a virtual image of my disk so I can just install it back to my other hard drive and not miss any file or folder I've seen it done before but I'm not sure how to do it I think we were in dos and started it in DOS.

    I have norton ghost 1.

    There are FreeWare utilities on the web that will perform the function you desire, and are at a more "serious" level than Norton Ghost 1, considering todays hardware etc.

    First of all is the hard disk manufacturers utilities;
    Hard Disk Analysis & Setup Tools - Major Manufacturers
    These will provide image/clone capabilities.

    Then there's the utilities available on the web;

    I meant to say I have norton ghost 13.
