Windows XP Boot Error
I just totally did something I might regret. I bought a barebones system, and I had a 2000 HP pavilion. I took everything out of my Pavilion and put it into the barebones (only CD drives, floppy drive, and hard disk) I put everything in, and correctly, because the BIOS displayed the correct names of the drives. There is only one problem. When I boot up windows, i get the error screen where it asks you if you want to start in safe mode or not. I have chosen both safe mode, and normally, but I only see the windows xp loading screen for like .25 of a second, then I see a blue screen for .25 of a second, and then the whole computer reboots itself. I wanted to save all my stuff on my hard drive, but is the only option reinstalling windows fresh?
Thanks, your site rules.

Yup, Win XP is a very touchy program when it comes to upgrading comps (Always has, always will). What I would do is swap the HD back to your old system, back the files up that you want to save, then reformat the drive in the new system.
