    Windows Media Center

Is there a way to just install media center by itself instead of the whole operating system?

I've seen a few people who have it but it's not considered media center it's just xp sp2

XP Media Center Edition is a complete OEM Operating System.

Dell also has a separate product known as Dell Media Center.

Microsoft also has a separate product known as Microsoft Media Center.

Do you know which one you've seen and or are interested in?

On further review all these products appear as part of the Operating System.

Dell and HP offer their own versions of XP MCE.

You can also find OEM disks for sale although Microsoft never released this as a retail OS.

From what I read the XP MCE features are included in Vista. At least in some versions.

What that is is an illegal alteration of XP known as XP Ultimate 2007.

Sorry we can not offer any assistance with it.

Google of course will show you some things.
