When I view pictures and movies I can't see them clearly, the colours are too flicky and unviewable. I tried changing my colours but it can only stay at 4bit. Help. I am using a Dell latitude D600.

Are you changing the settings via Dell or via XP?

The software and hardware is still the old one that came with the laptop. I usually change settings via XP but it doesn't work. Sometimes I get a message saying the driver was written for an old version of Windows.

Have you checked in the Device Manager for a driver update?

Does the Dell have any Display Settings in the BIOS Set-up?

Try finding an updated version of the display or graphics card driver. This might help. Perhaps you should consider upgrading your video card.
