I just had to run the recovery program and now my mouse doesnt work. I have checked the bios and it is set to auto detect, but nothing shows for a mouse in the device manager. I have tried searching for new device and nothing shows up. not sure of what to try next.

What type of mouse is it? PS/2 or USB?

sorry...ps/2....I have two like that, neither is recognized.....I have a USB for a different computer and that does work when plugged into a USB port....

Exactly what program did you use before your mouse did not work?

I had to run the system recovery....computer wouldn't boot up anymore. so it now should be acting like a new computer, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
