Not sure if I am using the right terminlogy so I will try to make myself clear. I am trying to link pictures to folders in My Music so that they dispay when I as cover art when I am playing the sound file. Sometimes picture in the folders display and sometimes not.

When you say sometimes it works and other times it does not I wonder if the picture file came with the music.

You can usually see this if you Open My Music. There should be a Picture File associated with the Music File.

Not all music will carry a picture file.

    Hi Jephree,
Thanks for the response. I actually found, while looking for something else, that you can associate a picture with a folder via right click and properties and customise. I knew it was right at the tip of my tongue so to speak but I forgot the route to take and Windows Hep & Support needs you to be very specific in your wording which I was not able to do.
As a mod you can answer another question for me. This forum allows me to upload a picture but not a screenshot. How come? A picture saves a thousand words ... and probably uses a thousand kb

You need to resize it or load it from an online album such as Photobucket.

Faststone is a good tool to easily resize plus many other features:

The Prt Scr key next to F12 works.

    I prefer Fast Stone.

The basic version is free and has a resizer as you do not want to post full size screenshots on-line.

As to posting the best is using an on-line site such as PhotoBucket.

Then just use the PhotoBucket address in an image tag:

    Thanks Jephree,
I wasn't planning on a full size screen shot, that would be asking too much. The one I had ready was cropped to show relevant information. I will check out the links, always learn something when I come here.

Faststone has some neat features such as capturing individual sub windows plus a general selection tool. Instant crop in other words.

    More handy info.
My usual procedure is to paste screenshot into Word, crop and maybe resize, then pdf to reduce file size.

Also a Drawing tool in the edit/save phase. Just for example I added the arrows here:
