Have built a new Pc and using a MSI945GM3 Mother Board with a Intel Celeron D 2.80GHZ(336) processor and a little confused on what range the core temperature of the processor should operate within. Any help would be appreciated. Tried to look it up on the Intel site but just became more confused.

Depends on a lot of variables.

With stock cooling in a mild ambient setting I'd say 40'sC idle to 60'sC under full load.

Take a look at this and see if 67.7 celcius is maximum temp for this processor
and anything less will be ok.
