Windows media shows a message that "sound device is not working". Have checked device manager and everything indicates that all audio devices are working properly.
Any suggestions on how to resolve problem with getting sound to work on Windows Media? System sounds are OK.

What version of mp are you using? Also, what OS?
I'd reccomend reinstalling MP and the drivers for your sound card.
Did it used to work or has it never worked?
