hi can any1 shed some light on this i have a leximark printer 1270 installed on my comp when i go to print say a cv or anything from microsoft word it prints blanks? i have done a reinstall of the printer and it still prints blank also it wont print in wordpad or notepad?

are you useing the drivers of the cd or what you have downloaded because the drivers that most people get with that pinter dont work with xp.
if you are useing the cd then download the drivers here http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-per...&searchLang=en
then uninstall the drivers and software unplug your printer (i know it tells you to plug the printer in before you install software but if possible dont) then install the new drivers plug the printer in again and try it.

hi there yes ive done a reinstall of new drivers from the website lexmark and i still get the problem i also get this message when i try to print in word unknown file extension?

im still having problems ive even done a coplete windows xp reinstall
