I'm going to try the full reinstall once more and see where that gets me. I may have screwed something up as I wasn't paying too much attention to it while it was running...
...my other laptop and Half Life Episode 2 had most of my attention at the time =)
I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks![]()
Striders!
Ha, yes. Striders indeed! lol. Finished it earlier today. I read some of your previous post about the Orange Box and I have to agree, it is an awesome collection of games in one box! Need to go back and play through Portal again...
I guess you noticed we have a TF2 server. Just started it.
Stop by sometime!
Thanks for the invite. I will check it out soon.
As for the driver issue...
Well I cut out the middle-man and bought a new wireless card and disabled the onboard NIC. Found the new one for less than 20 bucks. It's only a 802.1b but it works and this laptop isn't going to be used for more than email and Internet access so we should be all set for now.
I do want to check out your team fortress server. What's the name?
Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it!

Thanks for the update. Glad you got it working.
The server name and address is in my signature.
It has not been getting much use but I hope to organize some meets this weekend.
I go from time to time just to practice etc.
Anyway keep checking in.
