Because there is lot of "informatiom" (source:internet,Finland) it says you cant activate your win xp home oem version.cause you must buy windows vista
license.At this moment i live here in Sweden.I also asking very same question from Microsoft ,here in Sweden but i cant get answer.So what is the truth? i do not want buy Vista home premium because i have old pc... from year 2000.(antique?)

I know of no country where you have to buy one version of windows to activate another.

Have you tried to activate over the internet?

If you still have problems, telephone them on there activation number.

The number is in the instructions on how to activate over the phone.
