hi my daughter accidently dropped my laptop and now its completely dead wont start no lights nothing is there anything i can do to kick start or am i looking for a hefty repair bill my laptops a packard bell. cheers

Have you tried the AC adapter?

Open the various compartments on the bottom and reseat the battery and the rest of the hardware if necessary.
