Hi People;
After upgrading an older model Systemax Desktop(system model AWRADACPI)
by doing a full install of XP Home SP2,over the existing ME, I am experiencing
excellent online surfing,downloading,multi-tasking results;But,at this point,it
seems to be at the exspense of system Utility performance!
Scandisk,DiskCleanup,defrag..... etc..... All Microsoft OS system utilities take
forever to perform,even a simple task?????
Any suggestions would be welcomed.........Thanks for your attention;

What are the system specs. Try this scan:

XP requires a lot more in the way of hardware than ME would have.
