Everytime I play any music on my laptop whether it is through windows media player or itunes, the sound keeps on jumping. It sounds as if I am playing music through a scratched cd. Its very annoying. Have you tried reinstalling your sound drivers? I had a similar problem once.

Try reinstalling the drivers and see if it helps.

Yes iv tried this and iv tried updating the chipset and still no luck. I have no idea what it could be. Its very irritating, cant listen to any music, even off cds and usb sticks.
