    Is this a new problem?

    Any new hardware?

Does the monitor get power? Does the little light go to Green or is it Amber or is it Off. Do you get any screen such as "No Signal Input"?

What is the make and model of the computer?

Are you familiar with working inside it?

First thing to try is open it up and reseat the RAM.

If there is more than one stick then just try one and leave the other(s) out.

well the beeps dont come from the screen its from inside the pc so all i gotta try is remove my RAM and re seart then and try it again?

Yes. Continuous beep is most likely a RAM fault.

Well you have to start somewhere. If this computer has not be used in a long time check all the connections inside and out.

If there is a graphics card reseat that as well.

You can also reset the CMOS while you are in there.

Verify that all the fans are working etc.

There is a basic hardware failure somewhere.

If the monitor gets no power check those connections and perhaps try a different monitor. It should at least start up to tell you that it is getting No Signal.

Try a different mouse and keyboard. Make sure they are PS/2 and not USB.
