filling in a pdf form

    filling in a pdf form

    i have a pdf file of which i have to complete five copies , i do this regularly with different names and addrsss etc , now the problem is the form wont let me fill it in, now the form properties tells me that filling of form fields is allowed but no go
    by the way i am using adobe reader 8
    has anyone got any ideas please

    Try using FoxitReader;

    Fast, not bloated like Adobe, with more features. Freeware.

    Once you verify it works for you, you can uninstall Adobe Reader 8 and reclaim some hard disk space, and not have Adobe "phone home" everytime you open it.

    i would like to know what the problem is though it is a form ,and form filling is enabled my curser changes when i reach the places i have to fill in then nothing happens? wierd

    Based upon the information provided, I think something is "amiss" with Acrobat Reader. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? If clicking a .pdf file opens the reader, the file associations are OK, so it must be something internal to the program.
