Online Gaming?
Okay so, free games I play online, such as Little Fighter 2 and Age of Empires II. They will not let me play online. Why is this and how do I fix it? Please give a brief tutorial. I think it has something to do with my firewall, and both my IPs for the games were the same. WEIRD. PELASE HELP I WANNA PLAY SOOON.

Are you saying they used to work and now do not?
What happens when you try? If you get an error message what exactly does it say?
If you suspect the firewall test it by turning it off and see if there is a difference.

it IS off theres no option for me to turn it on or off. its hecka weird...
it never worked so yeah.

If you could describe things in more detail it would help us help.
Are you saying you have a firewall and it is off and you cannot turn it on?
What firewall is it?
Are you saying these games never worked?
What happens when you try to play?
Are you not able to connect to a server or what?
-
sorry I'm trying.
I have a firewall and its off and its like fade. You know when you don't have an option to set it on or off? this is like that.
It's the firewall from windows I guess? Maybe I have another firewall? But i dont know where i can find it.
these games work fine but I just can't play online with other people. Like when i give them the IP it won't connect.
Multiplayer is fine but they just cant connect with me when i give them my ip. and for BOTH little fighter 2 AND age of empires my IP was the same, they were both 192.168.0.100.
hope this is enough details if you need more please ask away

Thanks for the details.
If you only have the XP firewall you can turn it off via > Control Panel > Windows Firewall
If it is another firewall it should have an icon on your system tray (lower right).
Do other people use this computer? If so perhaps ask them about the firewall.
I only suggest turning it off as a brief test to see if that is the problem. If it is you can allow these programs or the ports they want to use.
Were you able to play these games previously on-line? In other words is this a new problem?
Anyway I am about to crash for the night. Perhaps others will have more ideas.

Look under Logon or post the text file back here.
The "floppy" icon on the menu bar is Save.
