XP Home Edition downloads are corrupted
Hi, there! I use Iobit's Advanced Windows Care V2 Personal and saw that there is an update to the program I am using. I went to the website to download the update and, after all was said and done, I received an error message that the file was corrupted and to download a new copy. My question is two-fold: how do I get rid of the corrupted download and, if I download again, what is my guarantee that it won't be corrupted as well?
I have a very slow dialup connection. Does this make any difference? Any advice will be appreciated.

Can't you simply delete the corrupted download?
"... if I download again, what is my guarantee that it won't be corrupted as well?"
And;
"I have a very slow dialup connection. Does this make any difference?"
Yes, it can make a difference. "Packets" (of information) can be lost along the way. Also contributing are the number of servers you're going through to get to the source file/download.
If possible, try to download the file(s) on a faster machine and then transfer them to your "current" machine.

Well, if you downloaded, there must be a downloaded file?
Can't you right-click on it and choose "delete"?
