wirless configuration on laptop
I use a laptop running XP home in the living room receiving its signal from a BT homehub upstairs(excellent to very good signal strength)The laptop is a Sony Vaio and the pc to which the router is attatched is a medion desktop running vista.Anyway getting to the problem, whenever i start-up the laptop more often than not the icon showing signal to the homehub displays a "unable to connect to network" box. What i then do practically every time is choose between the ethernet connection or the wireless connection picture(the ethernet seems to be the default) ; once i have checked the wireless box i go to properties and always have to check the box which says allow windows to manage my network".Then i highlight the description of my homehub which is the only one in the list and press ok or apply .Everything connects and i am able to use the internet again until the next time!.How can i make the computer always use the wireless connection as the default method of connecting to my network please?...Dave
