You techno folk my never do this but us oldy newcomers often do.
I connected my wi-fi adaptor to a usb port before running the disc. I also did the same with my printer. Needless to say my pc didn't pick them up. What can I do?

~Most~ USB devices like the drivers installed before the device is connected. Some during the drivers installation.

Remove the device, restart to make sure things are "clear", then install your drivers/software as per the devices instructions.

Thanks for the help. Did what you advised. My pc did not recognise either the printer or the wi-fi.
